We are pleased to invite students to take part in an upcoming Early Careers Fair hosted by The Social Mobility Committee at Leigh Day. The fair will showcase the wide range of practical areas across the firm, including clinical negligence, employment, human rights, international law and personal injury. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about legal careers beyond corporate practice.

The Social Mobility Committee at Leigh Day works to improve access to the legal profession and to address the barriers that can affect entry, progression and retention within law. The Committee raises awareness of socio-economic barriers and unconscious bias, supports reflection on firm-wide policies and practices and organises outreach initiatives and events throughout the year. Through collaboration with colleagues, universities and external organisations, the Committee aims to promote greater socio-economic diversity and ensure that socially conscious legal careers are visible, accessible, and supported.

Dates:

  • Manchester – Thursday 12 February
  • London – Thursday 19 February
  • Leeds – Thursday 26 February
